Wild Rose’s

Hello Friend’s

How was your February? I hope the short month, was wonderful and full of blessings mine was a whirlwind, of activity admits this strange new normal we have grown accustomed too.

I want to share two beautiful quilts, that Katie, sent my way to be quilted. The first one was a very special quilt. It was a quilt that needed some repair’s and a little revamping, to breath new life in too it’s treasured threads again. The fabrics where blacks, rusts and deep maroon with cream accents throughout the quilt. I carefully took apart the backing fabrics, from the quilt top then I repaired all the open seems and replaced a rectangle of fabric in the quilt that had worn through. Then I pressed and pressed! Until the quilt was like new it was amazing this quilt gained another 9.5 inches in length it was a lot of fun to work on I hope you enjoy the pictures of “Wild Rose”

The next beautiful quilt, is a modern one made with Cotton+Steel fabrics, it has some of my favorite lines of fabrics in it! The center blocks, are a log cabin pattern it’s pretty awesome!

I hope you enjoyed these beautiful quilts! Thank you Katie, it was a pleasure working with you!

Until next time I hope you have a “Sew Happy Day”

Jenn.
