Hello Fellow Followers,
It’s been a little while, since my last post! I have been super busy with a little of everything! I recently added another puppy, to are household she’s the littermate of are girl Grizzly, so now we have two rambunctious German Shepherd’s in the house frolicking around!
I have also taken on more outside work, so I fill my evenings and nights are now filled with longarm quilting, as well as quilt designs that dance in my head, when I get a chance to sleep!
I want to share an extraordinary idea, a client had for a quilt for her Corgi loving daughter. She had seen a picture on social media and messaged me through a good friend, long story short this is the design that was born! I think it turned out marvelous!
This quilt was such a fun design as each Cute Corgi was made with Minky fabric then overlaid with cotton fabric in brown and white. Then finished with a tight zig zag to seal the edges.
Then the free hand flowers, where drawn along with the fairy! As you know Fairy’s steeds are Corgis!! The perfect pairing made the canvas for me to create some beautiful free hand designs.
That organically complemented each other but, also told another story of the love the corgis have for the Fairy on the flowers!
I hope you enjoy the pictures, the lighting was not the best when I snapped these pictures but you can zoom the pictures in for more of the details.
Thank you Rita! It was an honor to work with you!
Until next time “Have a Sew Happy Day”
Jenn.
