Vintage and Modern combined!

Hello Fellow Followers,

I want to share, with you all two beautiful quilts that Traci made.

The first quilt, was a large plus quilt that Traci, pieced for her nephew. The white background and variety of black fabric’s for the blocks made this quilt, very modern and contemporary. It was only fitting to quilt an arrow design in the borders with straight lines and two inch squares in the black plus designs. It turned out so wonderfully.

The second quilt, was a true treasure to quilt. It was a diamond vintage hexagon quilt, that was elaborately hand quilted. This quilt was remarkable and well preserved. It was decided upon flourishing feathers in the outside borders, with a double straight line to accent the feathers.

Along with outlining the center diamond, and pebbling the outer white areas, to give the vintage quilt new life. As well as adding a little twist on a spectacular quilt.

I hope you enjoy these pictures, it was very hard to get pictures. As it’s been so gloomy and dark in the PNW lately.

Thank you, so very much Traci!

Until next time have a “Sew Happy Day”

Jenn.
