Hello Fellow Followers,
It’s been a busy start to May here, with track season wrapping up for my oldest son to are never ending yard work and new additions to are animal family it’s been hectic to say the least.
So I wanted to update you all on the next four wheelchair quilts I have finished, One is a Grizzly bear panel with a complementary print on the outside, framed with my favorite Henry Glass fabrics on the outer edge, I decided to top quilt swirls and curls for the outer edges with a simple outline of the Grizzly in the center I absolutely love how it turned out.
The next quilt is a Mare with her foal it’s also a panel as well I framed around the panel with a western feel Moda fabric I then top quilted it with free form daisies and out lined the center it turned out beautifully.
The next fun quilt was a fabric panel by Henry Glass, called the whole kitten caboodle I have a huge soft spot for cats and kittens and I thought maybe one of the residents at the care facility would as well, I framed it with fun blue and green dit dot fabric and top quilted simple stippling around the fun phrases and finished it off with swirling feathers.
The last finish is a fun Cowboy panel I think for any Rancher or Farmer in the facility this one will be a hit. The panel is by RJR fabrics and is bright and fun, I top quilted this by framing the pictures and quilted an infinity loop on the outer edges.
In turn I had fun making these special quilts each one take’s a piece of my heart along with it I hope it may bless the person who receives it and helps them to relive there younger days.
Until next time my friends
Have a Sew Happy Day!!
