2025

Welcome 2025

Hello Friends,

Happy New Year! I hope this new year will be a wonderful one. Full of blessings and joy and beautiful quilts!

I wanted to update everyone on my last year, it was a doozy we started 2024 off with a virus and once it got over with it was prep time for my youngest to graduate high school. We had a wonderful time at graduation seeing all are family and friends. Then it was already summer which was full of yard work and beautiful quilts.

I then had to say goodbye to my beautiful horse Bella which I had since birth. I had an amazing 26 years with her it was a very tough time for me.

I also was scheduling surgery for myself for a complete hip replacement in November. My body has really taken a lot since my accident 20 years ago, and the back surgery’s that made my hip joint wear out. I started really working out and strengthening my body for this risky surgery for me.

Fall, arrived with some Amazing quilts from friends to Long-arm. I feel so blessed to be able to long-arm others treasures. Then as surgery approached I felt deep in my soul that I should not go forward with it and we had insurance issues as well. It was a blessing I did not go through with it.

In November my youngest son was in a serious accident. A driver crossed four lanes of traffic and hit him head on going over 60mph. It flipped his large service truck he was driving and he went to the hospital with spine injuries but he is “Alive” Praise Jesus!!! He was able to continue going to college but it took a toll on my family. We were so worried for his future with his injuries, I prayed he would not have lasting injuries like my own.

But God was so good and he’s made a miraculous recovery. Are year ended with both my father in law and my father being diagnosed with cancer. Both underwent surgery and have had complications. But we continue to pray that God will answer are prayers and we have to have faith and trust in him.

The start to this new year has been well I invite you to participate with me in a project called “ The Prayer Jar” take any jar you like and decorate it and write your prayers you have daily and place the notes in your jar. And pray over them and at the end of the year read all the prayers that you made and see all the Blessings that God has answered. It’s Amazing!

We also welcomed a new addition to are family, a little Blue Heeler and her name is Indigo are Shepard’s like her and she’s been accepted in to the pack.

I pray that this year finds you well and may it be full of blessings!

Until next time “Have a Sew Happy Day”

Jenn.
