Friendship and Quilts.

Hello Fellow Followers,

How has your September started out? I hope it’s been splendid. The weather has started, to get a chill and the frost is almost on the pumpkin’s it’s my favorite time of year Fall!

This September, for me started out blue. It marks four years, since my beloved grandmother passed away. I still have not fully grieved her loss, it hits me in a title wave of emotions I can barely function. I miss her so so much.

Then my September changed for the better. I found out my dear friend Carolyn and her husband Paul. Would be driving across the United States, to visit my family I was ecstatic! I started envisioning plans, of sightseeing the beautiful areas that we have here when they arrived.

I also wanted to gift, my Quilting friend a special quilt. So I started piecing heart blocks as Carolyn has such a kind caring heart, she’s always helping others and she reminds me so much of my late grandmother. Carolyn has so much wisdom and useful advice, I felt an instant connection to her.

I pray that Carolyn and her husband Paul. have a safe trip back home. I will cherish the memories we made while they visited. my family and I will be eagerly awaiting, my trip East to visit them.

I hope you may touch someone’s life today, or this month or year! Something as small as giving your time, to others may mean the world to someone, I know it did for me and my family!

Until next time “Have a Sew Happy Day”

Jenn.

  1. It was a p perfect visit. We enjoyed our visit so much.
Thank you Jenn for the quilt you made for me and all your kind words. I have never been gifted a quilt until you became my friend. First the one for Mother’s Day and now this beautiful heart quilt. My Mother’s Day Quilt was a table runner, but , when I saw it, I knew it would become my prayer shaw. I am so blessed with your friendship. Thank you so very much.

    Love, Carolyn
