Cherished Memories.

Hello Fellow Followers,

I want to share a unique and memorable quilt with all of you.

This memory quilt was made from my client’s, uncles favorite shirts.

Some shirts where Hawaiian, some where Western shirts, along with some of his favorite sweaters and neck ties.

The design was simple, with nine patch blocks and the focal blocks in the center. An example would be the Hawaiian shirt in the center it was designed, to have the collar lift off the quilt, it’s quite unique and special.

I feel like each block in this quilt has its own story to tell. Making this quilt a very special keepsake, for my clients Aunt.

I kept the top quilting, to a minimum as I wanted the blocks to be the main focus.

I used ribbon candy along with some simple meandering between the ties and knit blocks.

I hope you enjoy, the pictures and the story that each block holds.

Thank you, Stefanie it was a pleasure working with you.

Until next time, I hope you have a “Sew Happy Day”

Jenn.
