Dear Fellow Followers,
I wanted to share this beautiful quilt sent to me by a dear friend, It is a tee shirt quilt Carolyn designed for a family friend to honor her loved one. It is made with his favorite shirts and photo’s.
It was quite simple Carolyn and I discussed quilting options and different colors of threads, along with batting and quilting motifs. She decided on free flowing echoed hearts, which I thought would be a perfect fit for this special treasure.
I then wanted the photo’s and shirts to stand out, so I quilted around all of them leaving a fun design on the back of the quilt.
I also felt a little of my own heart connect with this quilt, it made me think of fond memories of my loved ones and especially my grandmother. I hope that Carolyn’s friend feels comfort when she snuggles in this quilt from the heart and may it be a treasure for her heart for years to come.
